I just moved to Carson City, Nevada about a week ago, so I've been trying to settle into that whole lifestyle change -- and it's a big one! Today we got our first big snow -- my first time in the snow since I was really little.
(my front yard -- it's like a winter wonderland).
I'm still working on my novel, after a failed NaNoWriMo attempt (is it failed if I wrote 30,000 words? I suppose.) I've drafted an outline, though; and my goal is to have a finished rough draft by the end of January, which is when I'm supposed to start school.
In the meantime, I'm (sigh) looking for a part-time job, and hoping that I get a chance to read some more (I'd really like to post some new book reviews -- I just hate reading on the screen -- call me a traditionalist -- and actual paper books are expensive!
But for now, I am alive and relativity happy. Best we can ask for, eh?
